13 Jan Diana: Year 1
I don’t really like to talk about my personal life in the online world. I find it much more interesting to share tastes, content, information, experiences, creative work and some technical experimentation.
It’s been a year since the most important person in my life was born, Diana, a beautiful and cute baby, despite having a very complicated personality and who doesn’t really like to sleep at night…
On January 13, 2021, at the height of a pandemic crisis, the first song I heard when I woke up was “Cai neve em Nova York” by Amor Electro, a Portuguese band. The title translates to “It’s snowing in New York”.
It was a day that involved 3 trips to the hospital. The first to leave the mother in the early morning, the second to visit the mother during the period scheduled for visits, and finally, the last to watch Diana’s birth. The last one happened just as I was coming home after my second trip to the hospital.
Diana was born at 9:45 pm, and since then life has become much more fun and fulfilling, although sometimes I feel like I should spend more time with her (my job sometimes takes up a lot of my time). There are also days when I miss having more time for myself, because daily routines with a baby are very different from routines without a baby.
Last year brought the most amazing trip of my life… and I hope this trip will be a long one 🙂
